Beyond AI
AI is taking over new industries: the job market, bots and the future | AI News

The following article is a supplement to a video from the Beyond AI channel, so if you want to see artificial intelligence in action (and laugh a little), be sure to check out the channel. The world of AI isn't just about complex algorithms and robots—sometimes it's just... pickled cucumbers in Sangria! So let's get started!
Imagine a hot day. The middle of summer. Not a cloud in the sky, and you're sitting with friends wondering what to do to cool off. Water? Meh. Lemonade? Boring. And then a thought comes to mind: "Hey! We have artificial intelligence! Maybe it can invent something special!"
This is how a story began, which on the Beyond AI channel turned into an extremely funny experiment: we asked three different artificial intelligence models to create something that would conquer the hearts and palates of Poles. And what came out? Sangria. But not just any Sangria, because AI wouldn't give up and always adds something of its own, right?
Our "supercomputers"—specifically Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT 4.0—were given a very simple task: make a Sangria that will make every Pole say "Wow!" We received recipes with vodka, cinnamon, and (drumroll) pickled cucumber juice! Yes, you read that right—AI decided that in Poland, nothing moves without cucumbers.
Well, anyone who thinks technology is predictable probably hasn't seen what AI can do with fruit and alcohol.
Artificial intelligence did its job, so we headed to the store. Frankly, we secretly hoped that the AI would spare us the stupid looks at the checkout, but no chance... Our basket ended up with some wine, some vodka, a lot of fruit, and for dessert—a pickled cucumber and cinnamon, plus marjoram, because why not? After all, what could possibly go wrong?

Believe us, it was the most absurd shopping list we've seen since our student days.
We returned to the office and got to work. Chopping fruit? Check. Mixing wine with vodka? Check. And now the highlight of the program: Claude told us to add pickled cucumber juice. So we added it... I don't know about you, but we had a feeling then that this might be both the best and the worst idea in the history of summer drinks.

Gemini, on the other hand, suggested a Sangria recipe with cinnamon—something like mulled wine for the summer. Does it sound strange? Of course, it's strange, but we've drunk crazier things on holiday!

With glasses in hand, we went to the roof. No, it wasn't an escape from what we had just created in the kitchen. It's just that outdoor tasting sounds better. So, each of us had four glasses in front of us—one with traditional Sangria and three with AI inventions. And it began...

The smell of the first drink? Okay. A classic. The next ones? Cinnamon, something like Christmas tea. And then... bam—pickled cucumbers. It was like running into that one salad at a wedding that no one wanted to try, but someone still dared to take the first bite. Everyone looked at each other as if we were testing some strange elixirs from a magic book.
AI really hit on something no one expected: the Sangria with cucumbers tasted mediocre. This is probably the first time AI has gone from making grammatical errors to making errors in mixology.
The other two suggestions, however, were actually quite good!
The final verdict was a big surprise for us. It turned out that the best Sangria was invented by ChatGPT 4.0.
The Sangria with vodka, proudly named "Hussar's Fantasy," was too strong for some (meaning those who forgot that it's not moonshine). And Gemini's version with cinnamon? Well, cinnamon is more December than July, but hey, if you ever want mulled wine for the summer, you know who to contact.

Should artificial intelligence create drink recipes? Well, we can't say it shouldn't, since it just created something drinkable. As it turns out, AI has a quite interesting approach to mixing ingredients, and although its recipes are not always consistent with tradition, they can be a great starting point for new culinary discoveries.
So, if you ever need a drink recipe, don't be afraid to ask your digital assistant. Just, if pickled cucumbers appear, remember—we warned you!

es! Three different AI models (Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT 4.0) invented Sangria recipes. Some were more, others less traditional... but all were tested!
Surprisingly well! Despite the strange smell, the drink created by ChatGPT 4.0 was the group's favourite.
Of course! AI can create recipes, although sometimes it suggests quite unusual combinations. But who knows, maybe that's where its genius lies?
