Have previous versions of AI tools discouraged you from further use? And did you know that you can take a low-quality photo and turn it into a high-quality one, or, for example, cut the main object out from the background—all in your browser, for free, and within just a few minutes? Yes, it’s possible!
My name is Tymek, I deal with AI professionally, and I have tested 7 free AI graphic tools for you that you can use today.
Why is it so hard to find good AI for graphics?
In the jungle of hundreds and thousands of websites, chats, and applications using AI, it is sometimes hard to find one that suits us. When it comes to graphics, the most common problem is achieving proper photorealism. Tools that generate graphics often prefer images to look very colorful and very much like drawings.
Another problem is that there are simply too many of them, and it’s sometimes difficult to find the right tool that actually helps us achieve what we expect. Even if we do find something, it might turn out to be paid. Even after spending half an hour learning a given tool, we might find we can't use it without paying, for example, 20 dollars—which is nearly one hundred zlotys, a lot for a one-time need to make one or a few images.
Despite there being so many tools, I had quite a bit of trouble while searching to select ones that would truly fit here and be the simplest, best, most effective, and sufficiently free for everyone. So, let’s get to it:
List of 7 AI Tools for Creating Images and Graphics
First, I will show you tools that generate images, and then we will move on to tools that help with daily image enhancement or editing.
1. Copilot Create (Dall-e 3)
Copilot Create is an online application used to produce new graphics. To use it, you must have a Microsoft account and be logged in.
Advantages:
- Very powerful algorithm capable of creating beautiful things
- Understands the Polish language, even complex prompts
- You earn Microsoft Rewards points
Disadvantages:
- t doesn't always manage to maintain photorealism
Our Rating: Despite the struggle with photorealism, this is one of the best tools available publicly, and it doesn't push you to pay for a premium version.
2. Leonardo AI
Leonardo AI is an AI-based image creation application that has become incredibly popular recently.
Advantages:
- Extensive with many possibilities
- Many image generation engines and ready-made presets
- Capable of achieving a high level of photorealism
Disadvantages:
- Prompts must be entered in English
- It can sometimes hallucinate
Our Rating: The free version is worth a try—we recommend it.
3. Creator.nightcafe.studio
Night Cafe Creator is another AI image generation app, similar to Leonardo AI.
Advantages:
- Many features available at the surface level
- Ready-made presets
- Community challenges and contests
Disadvantages:
- Some features require payment despite collected tokens
Our Rating: For quality, ease of use, and the social aspect—a big plus.
4. Autodraw
AutoDraw is a simple but useful tool that allows us to hand-draw things we wouldn't normally be able to draw or describe.
Advantages:
- Easy to use
- Useful for quickly creating icons and pictograms
Our Rating: It seems like a toy, but it’s very useful in daily work.
5. ArtBreeder
ArtBreeder allows you to create interesting visual effects, including images with hidden patterns.
Our Rating: Not very practical, but very meme-worthy—we recommend it.
6. Lets Enhance
Lets Enhance is an AI application used for enhancing our photos and graphics.
Advantages:
- Resolution upscaling
- Color processing
- Background removal
- Restoring old photos
Disadvantages:
- Limited amount of free credits
- Watermark in the free version
Our Rating: A very useful tool; it’s worth keeping in mind.
7. Remove BG
Remove Background, as the name suggests, removes the background from our images.
Advantages:
- No login required
- Fast and effective operation
- Ability to add a new background
Our Rating: One of the most useful daily AI graphic tools.
8. Bonus: Quick Draw
Quick Draw is a game where you draw objects and the AI tries to guess them. It’s great entertainment that simultaneously helps develop other AI applications.
